| Other Info: | The fire guardian, one of the four dragon guardians. They were tasked to look after the dragon eggs in the Dojo but the Dark Armies came and attacked the Grotto. Ignitus managed to save only one of the eggs, the egg of the prophesied Purple Dragon, a dragon born only once every ten generations.
In the years after that he commanded small, valient forces of his own to attack the Dark Armies and their new threat, Cynder. The last remaining free Guardian Ignitus went into hiding and waited for the Purple Dragon to return. Eventually he did meet the Purple Dragon, Spyro, and began training him how to fight like a true dragon. After Spyro and Cynder emerged from the Catacombs three years after the resurrection of the Dark Master Ignitus helped them reach him by sacrificing himself to get them through the Belt of Fire. Upon the start of the new age The Chronicler gave Ignitus his job of chronicling the triumphs and failures of the age. |
