WorthPlaying brings the first 23 images of The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night and confirmation of it being on the PlayStation 2, Wii, DS and GBA and that it is going to be released towards the end of this year. The game is being developed by the same companies as before, Krome Studios and Amaze Entertainment.
They also mention that Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman are back as Spyro and Ignitus, though there's no mention of David Spade. This is apparently the second of a trilogy of Legend of Spyro games.
Thanks go to Michael for finding the article.

I found this on the web the other day. Seems as if Billy West has also been added to the voice roster. No mention of what role he will have in particular is mentioned though, but I'm concerned he's going to replace David Spade as Sparx, thanks to some of his prior roles including Murfy in Rayman 3 and Fry and other chracters in Futurama.

Hey Dark,
This isn't really the best place to post this so I hope you see it. I had an idea for another page ... you may think it's stupid. It would be a page dedicated to listing everything developers have told us they were forced to exclude from the games. I think this would be neat just because then fans can see the types of things that could have been. Examples include Momkey's Kitchen, Elora being playable in AOTR, Gnasty originally being an ETD boss, tradable creatures on wi-fi originally in SL etc. Totally up to you of course but I think this might be neat to add.

Yeah, the suggestions forum would be the place to post stuff like that. Sounds like an interesting idea though, but rather than an singular page it seems more like it'd be something that would go in a trivia section for each of the games in question.
And as for Billy West, if he's not Sparx then I at least hope he's doing more than just 'Additional Voices' like he did in Enter the Dragonfly.

Well totally up to you, I never like having to go to each page though for related info. like that. I'll stop talking about it here now.
All the screenshots look great. The only thing I'm wary about is the whole Age of Darkness plot. I mean isn't that (basically) what we got in SL? Anyway, I hope David Spade voices Sparx again. I rather like his new attitude in the LoS games
I'm tempted to end up getting this for DS, just because the graphics are indeed much more improved than the DS version of ANB.

Actually, in SL, we has the people of the realms being transported into a parallel universe, not the antagonist creating eternal darkness.
That's true. Still, pretty close, don't you think?
I can't really see any similarities.
Yeah... I'm not seeing the similarities either. <.<
*shrugs* Well anyways, I wonder how long TEN will be as far as gameplay hours. Hopefully longer than the first.
so longer
Well, I hope so 2, I guess we'll find out in October, YAY.
