Following on from a couple of Singapore based retailers listing a PS4 exclusive "Crash Edition" of Skylanders Imaginators, the official website has perhaps inadvertently confirmed that something with that name is indeed coming.

Nothing beyond the word "Crash" is mentioned as the tab does nothing when clicked on but it certainly backs up what those retailers had listed. With E3 2016 next week the contents of this "Crash" bundle will hopefully not remain a mystery for too much longer.

The site also showed off the toys of a couple of new Sensei characters that we've previously seen in artwork form, as well as Wolfgang's regular toy.

Why do they want to kill Crash now
Because 8 years of nothing is so much better, especially if he's a guest star so just around for the cameo like Bowser and DK.

Hey, if that were to mean he gets into a comic or something that'd be neat... I guess? Hopefully if it were to be PS4 exclusive it wouldn't have the same issue as Bowser & DK where (correct me if I'm wrong) they won't work on a non-Nintendo console? <.<;
Crash is dead. If they revive him now he'll only die more. 
Because not only he's a living thing, but ressurection magic exists.
Also before anyone brings this up again, rumor has it there's an accompanying Crash game. It's best to see when E3 starts, instead of listening to people bringing 2011 arguments back.

Thing is, if this 'Crash edition' isn't Crash Bandicoot, then what will it be? Maybe we'll be getting a light edition, as someone else suggested on the Skylanders boards a little while ago.

I never got into Crash Bandicoot myself, but it would be cool to finally see him in a Skylanders game, wether this is real or not.

I don't know, maybe replace King Pen and Golden Queen with the two new Light Skylanders and also add the reformed Light villain, while swapping the Fire Creation Crystal with a Light one as well.
