I love to be giving good news for once. I found out about the IMDB page on wednesday (Aus. time) but I couldn't get on DarkSpyro because of assignments. I haven't been able to find an official website yet and I won't expect to till some time in mid-late 2008 (rhymes) but I'm sure there'll be some unofficial material turning up reallly soon.
yeah, cuz like i've already found out that theres going to be a shrek 4 coming out in 2010, so it only a matter of time b4 we see something bout this movie.

OMG!!!! you won't believe it!!! i just got back from the movies, and right b4 the previews, there WAS AN AD FOR SPYRO!!!!! YES SPYRO!!!!! i'm not sure if it was bout the movie or the game, cuz th ppl at the theater mixed up the signs for the movies, so we caught the very end of it, but i literally said OMG!!!!! really loud and i was like IT WAS SPYRO!!!!!!
Wow, movie publicity already, maybe I was wrong about the wait for official material. I was using my estimations for ANB and TEN information releases but I guess it's different for movies.

Ha, reminds me of a trip to EB when I discovered ANB was coming out, I hit the web like it was last hope at life (metaphorical, I'm not suici... you get my drift). I was scanning the tele' ads like I actually cared what they had to say. I also got a strange urge to play the Zen level in half-life for some reason (you noticed how convexity is just like zen in nearly every way).

One of my biggest hopes for the movie is that it isn't fricken Cellshaded, urgh. I HATE cellshading. I hope its realistic enough to be believable but also cartoony enough to be fantasy, in visual detail that is. Oh, and I hope the voices are good, I think Tom Kenny is doing the voice for spyro and Gary Oldman is doing the voice for Iginitus, although none of that's not official as far as I know (at least not on IMD

Trust me. They have some of the very best and most capable story craftors working on this project. They are eminently qualified and hugely capable. Spyro is in the very best of hands and this will be a movie experience to remember.

The writers have written Dr. Doolittle 4 (the first three were bad enough)...the company did the latest Garfield (that's not saying much) and the producer worked on such movies as "Shark Bait"...a terrible, ugly "Finding Nemo" rip-off. I'm staying pessemistic about the movies quality. That's because, in my experience, if I keep my expectations low, the more likely the movie is to be good in that I'm more likely to notice the good bits more than if I had high expectations. If I have high expectations, I'll notice the bad bits more.

that is true, but like i said, spyro looks HOT up on the big screen (and yes i have seen him there) and so even IF they do a horrible job, it won't look to bad.
