Several pieces of (possible placeholder) boxart and five new screenshots of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure have turned up at Amazon.com. If the release date is also accurate then you can expect the game out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, and the Nintendo 3DS on September 27th 2011.

Toys R Us also have the boxart and a bit more detailed descriptions of the contents of the Starter Packs which will include the game (obviously), the Portal of Power, 3 figures (Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy), poster, 3 trading cards, a sticker sheet, and 3 web codes. Hence the large shape of the box.
And IGN have uploaded three new videos showcasing Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Gill Grunt.

We've still got E3 to look forwards to, hopefully a lot more will come up then.

His voice when he jumped is REALLY nasally. It reminds me of his old voice from the very first Spyro game. The nostalgia factor is off the charts right now.

I'm not saying it looks good, but it looks better than I originally thought. Spyro sounds awful though. I also watched a bit of the trigger happy video, and I think the other characters could ruin it quite a bit.

Looks pretty cool! The only thing is... was that Spyro's 'flight' in the video of him? Darn, you may as well walk if that's the case...

He meant that there was no strategy to flying in DotD. You just did it whenever you wanted to.

I think the flight system is like the Gnasty's Loot level. You can fly as high as you can jump. Also, the gameplay for Spyro is similar to the old style, charging and flaming. <.>

The flight in this game is EXACTLY how I thought it would be...only slower...
I saw the "Spyro Starter Pack" trailer and I HATE Spyro's new voice. Good(!) He sounds fits how he looks. The Hans Zimmer music so far is okay-ish. Spyro's not even on front of the cover (instead, a green guy with blue hair).
Let's I'll find a little bit of that TRUE Spyro magic a little bit in the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 and SoulCalibur V.

Second, design still doesn't make a game, and nor does the voice. Besides, who ever really expected a dragon to have a human-like voice? I never really got that....
