The link works now. The new site is simply awesome . This game looks sooooooo good! I'm glad I pre-ordered my copy today so I can pick it up tomorrow. From looking at those vids, and the TV commercial, I can conclude that the cinematic scenes in this game will be computer animated!!!! They look GREAT!!!!! Cynder is (by far) the coolest looking Spyro villian of the vivendi games (no one can top Insomniac's Gnasty Gnorc). Sparx reminds me a lot of Daxter tho ..... but I can get used to that! I just love the epic tone this game has compared to others. Also, despite what the strategy guide said, the Dark Master plot seems to still in the game!!!

This isn't related entirely...but I need help to access the site.


I cannot get flash to play on youtube, or nintendo.com I click to install it and it plays a short little quip of a bar spinning and telling me it is installed, however it still doesn't work at these sites.

Now if I take the video link and embed the youtube video into myspace it plays.

It will not play if it is on the main site.

I also cannot access www.spyrothedragon.com.

I know I have flash player installed, it used to work.

However it would not work at the same time as Blue Coat by Zone Labs running, an anti-spyware application.

I disabled Blue Coat and then flash worked. However after a computer reboot, the flash player didn't work again with or without Bluecoat on.

How is it I can see youtube videos embedded (which takes flash) but trying to play it on the main site it says flahs is not installed, and why can't it be read to use such sites as Nintendo, Spyro and MSNBC Video?

Why did it work before a reboot? Why didn't it work with Blue Coat on?

Why on earth can't I use flash, it tells me it is installed! It also says if it doesn't work maybe Active X is blocking it and if that is the case a pop up would appear prompting me to tell Active X to allow flash, no such pop up has come forth for me!

Please help me get flash...so I can see the new Spyro site!

Alrighty then, graphix are a slight departure from what I expected, but they are really good. I may just get this asap.

Finally it worked! Sparx is purely ugly! The music is wonderful! Really wonderful! It does seem like the Dark Master is in it, but he is the same as the spirit she is trying to resurrect, it sounded like they were two things, but they are the same. This is the best of any Spyro site ever. It went up almost as soon as I mentioned it not being up. 4 guardians now not just one. The cutscenes almost look like claymation but I know they are not.

All the dragons look cool, my favourite is Volteer.

The dragon designs look good. Now I have to just figure out how or if I am going to incoporated any of the new characters in the 2008 movie. The biggest problem is that this game is reboot that isn't connect to the orginal universe. I'll figure something out.

Well.... 7/10 is still good compared to 5/10. SPYRO ROCKS!

Looks like game informer felt the same as Games Radar. Another 7/10.
They say that it hast too much combat and doesn't do it well enough .

Well so far Spyro's 'grade' is a 70%.

Out of a total possible 40 points he has gotten 28.

You can either take all four scores - 70, 70, 55, 85 and add them then divide by four or 7+7+5.5+8.5 and divide by 40 (the total possible score).

That is ok I guess, I hope it goes higher an 80% - 90% would be nice!

Prima Games have noticed the game and have made a guide book on it. Real good.

Yeh Prima released that a couple days ago. It does really look good.

The two big reviews I'm waiting for are IGN and Gamespot. I'm hoping to see some more 8/10's !!!!!

Well I got it on the game on the 12 of october, tell me when you actually see it at a store since i'm not quiet sure.

Got the game today! Played it........ and I'm addicted. IT's AWESOME!!!!! This certainly isn't the insomniac spyro we all know and love... in a couple ways its better! While I miss collecting gems/orbs etc. this game makes up for it with it's awesomeness. First off, the computer generated cinematics are very well done. It really is like playing through a pixar film (mainly because there are so many cutscenes!). Unlike AHT or ETD, this game is very scripted. Gary Oldman has the coolest dragon voice I've ever heard, Spyro sounds good too. Despite what GamesRadar said, I really like David Spade as sparx! He reminds me of Daxter so much! DAXTER ROCKS! Anyway, the combat is sweet (seems kinda repetetive) but its fun! The music sounds very similar to Lord of the Rings. Its epic, and very engaging. There is even a flashback scene showing a massive war between the dragons and Cynder's baboons that looks very similar to a LOTR battle. THe graphics are best I've ever seen in thhe Spyro franchise. I'm sooooo glad it doesn't look bright, cheery, and un-detailed like AHT. Instead, its dark (like a war-torn world should look), highly detailed, and simply gorgeous. The enemies are very awesome, and detailed too (no more pink low polygon gnorcs! ) I've only gotten past the first area, and I'm really loving this game . Oh yeh, each level in the game is actually an island linked by flying stages. The stage I played was the best part of the game so far ! You get to CONTROL SPYRO WHILE HE FLIES FROM ONE ISLAND TO THE OTHER!!! AWESOME! So yeh, all of you people have got to buy this game! Its way different from the insomniac ones, but krome has made it into something (in some ways) better!

You should know GnastyRatchet that you only fly twice in the game, when you go to Dante's Freezer and escaping Munitions Forge.

Yah.... I just realized that. I've made it to the 4th area and I've only flown once . It would have been better if you got to fly more often.
