The latest trilogy of Spyro games also had accompanying mobile phone games but for some reason I didn't get around to writing a walkthrough for the second part, The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night... until now. Can't find your way through the maze like levels? This brand new walkthrough should help!
There's also a bestiary for the game which details all of the enemies and their weaknesses.

Since it's December I've rolled out the decorations and put some snowflakes on all of the banners. Merry Christmas!

I first mentioned it in July of 2004 and now it's finally complete. The Character section of the Guidebook now has every single character from every single Spyro game in it.
To celebrate here's a picture of Spyro made out of a load of profile pictures:
Hopefully the next part won't take quite so long...

The last major version of a Spyro game that didn't have walkthrough on this site has now got a walkthrough on this site. So, if for some strange reason you were stuck in the main parts of the Nintendo DS version of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning and you didn't feel like reading the existing walkthroughs on GameFAQs - you can now use the utterly pointless walkthrough for that very version of that very game.
They've been there for years but I might as well mention that there are also visual solutions to all 80 of the Power Crystal Puzzles in the game should you get stumped on any of them.

It's that time again, every year around this point the site becomes a whole year older, and this year is no different. To celebrate this fifth anniversary I've altered the front page to look similar to the original design of the site, those of you who've been here a really long time may have recognised it.
Over the past year the site has gained a few new guides, ones for all of the versions of the latest game, Dawn of the Dragon, and a new guide for The Eternal Night's DS entry. The Guidebook is still slowly approaching completion, with nearly 900 characters so far there are only a few handheld games left to add.
At some point this year I'll get around to finishing a walkthrough for the DS A New Beginning and I'm currently half working on a refreshed guide to the third GBA game Spyro: Adventure which was the first Spyro game that I wrote a walkthrough for, it hasn't really seen much work done to it over the five years it's been sitting there and it shows. With no sign of a new game on the horizon, this coming year may be a quiet one.

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! has finally been added to the North American PlayStation Store.

Hopefully it won't suffer the same issues as the European release of Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer.
Thanks to crashpro for the heads up.

As topical as ever, the walkthrough to The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night on the Nintendo DS is finally complete.
Fight your way from a murky purple nightmare world all the way through to the crystal clear fight with Gaul at the very end and all of the stuff inbetween. And make sure to pick up all those old bits of Dragon Scales and Teeth along the way.

You can now add a message to the top of your guestbooks that stays there. I don't know what the point is but I guess you can put some information there about yourself or something. Do whatever you like with it really.
To change it simply go to the bottom of the Profile Options page and enter it into the Guestbook Announcement box.

I've added some new formatting tools that hopefully work. Just highlight sections of text and click the buttons above to add the BBCode formatting. Wonderful.
I've also recently added a dropdown list when creating a topic so you can easily post the topic to a different forum to the one you were on when you clicked Create New Topic.

It's finally here, the day you will remember for the rest of your life. That's right, the walkthrough to the Nintendo DS version of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon has been completed.
There's also a brief Bestiary with the enemies and their elemental weaknesses. Enjoy.

My walkthrough to The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon on PS2/PS3/Xbox 360/Wii is now complete. Fight from The Catacombs through to the Dark Master himself and all of the stuff inbetween.
You'll find locations for all of the Blue Clusters, Red and Green Crystals, Armour and all of the Elite Enemies in order to get 100% completion.
The walkthrough for the DS version is still not quite complete but hopefully I'll get around to finishing off the last parts soon.

Hurtling towards the finish line the Burned Lands have been completed.
It's just the Floating Islands and Malefor's Lair left.
This finishes off the save images as the last two levels seem to just use the Burned Lands picture. I've added all of the images that I've been using to the Dawn of the Dragon Gallery where you can check them out at full size.
Edit: It turns out there are actually images for the final two levels, I've added them now as well.

I accidentally uploaded a slightly modified look to the profiles so it might as well stay.
In other news, and what I was actually trying to do, I've completely switched everybody over to the new, less resource intensive way of being told when there's a new post in a topic. Now it'll just show you new posts since your last visit rather than new posts since 2005.
If you were already using this option (new accounts have been by default since it was added in July) then this won't make any difference to you.

I've given the Dragon Generator a bit of a different look. It should now let you see what you're making instead of guessing.
If it doesn't work on Internet Explorer 6, get a new browser.
Also, I've temporarily turned off the ability for guest to post comments on the game pages.
