Yes, Royal Double Trouble works with Giants.
I feel like this is a dumb question but before i spend the money on it. I wanted to ask does anyone know if the royal double trouble from the ios version works on the console versions? I would think it should but i was told by a gamestop worker that they heard it only worked with the ios version. Any help on this question would be very welcomed.

Well I got a chance to call my local GameStop to see if my pre-order for the new battle pack is in, and they confirmed it is in, however they only got enough to fill the pre-orders. Glad I had mine pre-paid and waiting for me.
I'm not sure if anyone has posted this but I saw eye-brawl and thumpback listed on walmart.com does anyone have any idea the reason for that? of course they say that they are unavailable BUT they are actually listed so ya anything anyone? again my apologies if someone already made a comment on this on here already
i just hope that the next wave brings us thumpback, eye-brawl (as their boxes have been revealed) and lightcore pop fizz i dont know abou the S2's but i hope S2

The GameStop near me was told they would have the new battle pack on the 9th, so I went last night to pick up my new battle pack they did not have it of course and they are now being told tomorrow (Friday 1-11-13) so we will see. The management of that store was told wrong once already......sigh.
I went out today Jan 9, and gamestop, toysrus and walmart didn't have any new Skylanders, so I'm hoping that tomorrow they will. Here in Canada, the giants are very rare to find. I wish Target would hurry up and open here in Canada.
It's too bad that Activision or someone would just sell ALL the skylanders directly online.
