The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

My least favourite Spyro console game, but also one of my most nostalgic games ever. Hmm, I'm in an ethical pickle

There's no cheats page, so I'll put it here: some cheat codes have been found! (Credit to Ebbe on Youtube for posting videos of it, and further credit to Swyter for making finding it possible)

All Unlockables:
GameCube: Up, Down, Left, Right, X, X, Left Trigger, Right Trigger
PlayStation 2: Up, Down, Left, Right, Square, Square, L2, R2
Xbox: Up, Down, Left, Right, X, X, LT, RT
If you hear a subtle "click", the code has been entered correctly. This will unlock all extras and the bonus ending cutscene.

Debugging code:
How to input the debug code (on GameCube only):
Hold (on controller 1): B, Y, D-pad UP, left analog stick LEFT
While holding: Unplug a controller from port 4.
Two dashes will appear at the top left corner of the screen for two seconds. You have to reboot the game to be able to input the code again.

I never had a chance to get very far in this game before my dad sold the only PS2 in the house. It was his PS2.

I've played Spyro: A Hero's Tail gameplay 100%. Among eight and seven years. I used with the Internet darkSpyro with Spyro AHT maps to find the Dragon Eggs, Light Gems and Dark Gems. With my brother's help.

Hey, tell me, I liked my character is Blink the Mole, the cousin of Noctis Lucis Caelum and me and nephew of the King Regis.

The videogame A Hero's Tail is cool!
