The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

This game wasn't so bad. y does every1 hate it? I thought the graphix were awesome and cartoony, and hunter and spyro looked cool with out all the polygons. its definitely worse than the 1st three, but not a bad game. worth the buy. just hope legend is better or spyros doomed...

The same thing happened to me! Apparently, if you turn off the console while the save game icon is showing, it screws up the game. I had to start the game over from the beggining! Now, before turning off my playstation, I have to make shure that spyro was far away from any of those rotten gamesave fairies!

How many people liked Crash Twinsanity? Alot! So... how about making a Spyro game like Crash Twinsanity, maybe another fusion game (only better)? So, V.U. should probably do it and then Spyro is back in buisness and these people who hate this game and others will shut up!

mony, i don't think that Insomniac games want the spyro searies. The same happened to the crash bandicoot saga! V.U. Games made Crash Twinsanity! You see?

Vivendi needs to do us all a big favor and give Spyro and all the other copyrights/trademarks and what-not back to Insomniac games. All the first three are our favourites, and were the best, and then when Vivendi came along, well, all hope is lost...

I Normally like Spyro game WERY much put this 1... this 1 just was ginda boring and sucked a little to i mean i didnt realy get ANY information on who is Red and why he started to mine Dark Gems, Why did he start planting those Dark Gems around the realms AND WHY HE EVEN NEEDED THOSE DARK GEMS

You know what REALLY annoys me? PEOPLE SAYING THAT GOOD GAMES ARE BAD *Gets seriously angry*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, have any one of you thought about what you were gonna write before ya wrote it? You know how that makes me feel? UPSET! There! I SAID IT! You know that that passes a sword right through people's stomachs!

This game is very funny to! I mean, take Elder Titan in the Cloudy Domain....
