Story

The story of Skylanders Imaginators takes place long ago when the Ancients used a mysterious power known as "Mind Magic" to create everything in Skylands. With it, they conjured into existence anything that they could imagine! However, they soon learned that in the wrong hands, it could be very dangerous, and so they sealed it away so that it could never be misused. After discovering this ancient secret, Kaos has unleashed the power of "Mind Magic" into Skylands once again - and he is using it to create an unstoppable army of Doomlanders, the likes of which have never been seen! Now it's up to Portal Masters to create Skylanders Imaginators from their own imagination and stop Kaos and his evil Doomlanders before it is too late. And to help train them, Eon is sending the greatest mystic warriors of all time - the Senseis!

Characters

For new playable characters there are 20 brand new Skylander Senseis as well as 11 former villains. Along with their element each Sensei will also have a Battle Class from a list of ten: Smasher, Knight, Ninja, Bazooker, Quickshot, Sorcerer, Brawler, Sentinel, Swashbuckler, and Bowslinger.

The first set of characters to be revealed included King Pen, Golden Queen, and Tri-Tip. Here is a table containing all of the new Skylanders, click the + to see all the known variants:

Senseis

"Sensei" is the collective name for the new set of Skylanders (the villains also function as Senseis), their Battle Class determines the types of attacks and weapons they use as well as which abilities they unlock for your Imaginators. They all have a new type of super attack called Sky-Chi that slowly fills up as you defeat enemies until it reaches a point where you can unleash it on your unsuspecting foes (quite similar to the ability Trap Masters had in the 3DS version of Trap Team).

Owning a Sensei of a particular battle class will unlock a Secret Technique for your Imaginators of the same class. As well as that they will each unlock an item and a weapon for use in customisation. Senseis will also be able to access areas known as "Sensei Elemental Realms".

Creation Crystal

Included in the Starter Pack is a Fire Creation Crystal, this allows you to create and store your very own custom Fire element Skylander. To create a Skylander of a different element you'll need to purchase a Creation Crystal of that element.

Be aware that once you select a Battle Class you can not change it on that Creation Crystal ever again. So choose carefully!

Starter Pack

In the Starter Pack you get the Water Sensei Master King Pen, the Earth Villain Golden Queen, and a Fire Creation Crystal. The portal included is identical to that of the Swap Force portal (some regions instead have a modified SuperChargers Portal without a trap slot).

There is also once again a Dark Edition of the Starter Pack, it contains three Dark variant Skylanders (King Pen, Golden Queen, and Wolfgang) and three standard Creation Crystals (Fire, Life, and Dark). The pack also comes with a Gold Imaginite Mystery Chest that unlocks some gear for your Imaginators.

And there is a "Crash Edition" that is only available on PlayStation 3 and 4, it has the same contents as the regular Starter Pack plus the Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex toys. The characters will be available in a separately sold Adventure Pack at a later date.

Platforms

The game is only appearing on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the Wii U. That means no Wii, 3DS, or Tablet versions this year.

It's a heavy weapon end that can crush just as much as cut. It's the most generic term I could find since other sharp objects also exist for Smashers.

Ok I've had enough of this, don't jump down my throat over the whip thing it wasn't even in the grand spectrum of what I was saying about how the ninjas shouldn't JUST have throwing stars and the whip, I was calling what I was seeing which is what everyone here does, boom bloom is the suspected last ninja, look at her picture, in the back there's like an orange/yellow thorny vine/rope thing, that's what's in the picture, is it a whip, who knows, is it a weapon, maybe, could it be part of her body, absolutely, end of story, jeez try to decipher one picture and everyone flies into missing the point mode

And I wouldn't exactly call an axe a bludgeoning weapon, but personally I don't think axe fits very well in a smasher ideology anyway, more like slicing or chopping than smashing but all the same I guess

Smashers are bludgeoning weapons, not just axes; Ninjas are thrown weapons like knives and ninja stars. Whips fit neither.

Besides, even so they can throw things other than throwing stars

The Battle Classes indicate weapon type. Though axes and maces are different weapons, they are both heavy weapons. Brawlers use fist-based weapons, though King-Pen's are attached to his flippers, due to lack of fists. They still have the functionality of fist weapons.

The Ninjas use throwable projectiles. Whips are not throwable projectiles.

As long as she's not a Bowslinger, I won't care if she's even an Umpa-Lumpa lol

Probably will be soon though my point still stands that they're not gonna have the same weapons just because they're the same type, King pen and crash are crawlers one has blades on his wings the other has a fist chopscotch and tri tip are smashers one has a mace the other an axe, where do you get the Ida that all ninjas will have throwing stars

*brawlers

Bloxz, you said a while back that all the characters of the ninja type will have the same weapon but boom blooms picture looks like it has some kind of vine whip so I don't think you've got correct facts here, where's the proof because if that's the case it's news to me

If star cast has 3 arms that will be amazing because he will be first three armed characters

You know, we should feel lucky that we're getting Skylanders Acedemy. This series has been going on since 2011, it's come a long way since then. Plus, it's like we're getting a Spyro tv series, even though its for Skylanders, but Spyro us the main character.

http://www.vitrex-shop.com/de/...button=1&page=1 Wave One/Possibly Wave Two, but I think it's all Wave One because would Wave Two listings go up this early? And plus, if this is all Wave One, look at the previous years for the amount of Wave One Characters. This can easily be all of them, which I hope is the case.
