Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features
- Action/combat orientated

- Elijah Wood as the voice of Spyro
- David Spade as the voice of Sparx
- Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.
- Named enemies. A lot of creatures that Spyro attacks will have their own individual name (randomly assigned except for significant enemies such as bosses or some small creatures). You can read a complete list of all of the bits of the names, and view a Random Enemy Name Generator.

Yep. Thats true. But you still talk as Spyro and I lost my ANB (DS) last year. I completed all of the light puzzles in no time at all. 
I heard that if you complete all 80 crystal puzzles in the ds version of new beginning you can play as Cynder. *wishes I had the ds version and my ds weren't broken and sold to gamestop*
i should give this game credit the DS and Home Console Versons are ok but i perfer the classic and comared to the classic series this series is complete garbage now if youll excuse me im gonna go celebrate chinchillie day next week

im confused, does it matter where u go in the log?
When you first get to tall plains you go thruogh the log then use ur fire breath six times in the log then the thing will go up in flames go through the cave and you will see a glowing orb walk into it and you will se a video clip of cynder and spyro then go to the extras menu and you can select cynder scin!
