The legends are in ways better and worse than the original Spyro series. In the originals you had choices on what you want to do first and leave till later while these are just mission after misson of a one choice path. The good things are that there are elements, gameplay is great and graphics are really good smilie
I rate it 4/5 smilie

Ever heard of the word, "opinion"?

I would. I've always been of the opinion that DotD would have turned out so much more tolerable if at least Krome had made it, because at least it would have *looked* like a sequel to ANB and TEN. Unfortunately, my problem with what the series has become is something much more fundamental than that.

ANB was a step in a good new direction. Unfortunately, more people preferred to appreciate the (over)slimness of a dragoness than the actual potential of the game itself, and that put the series onto a path of doom. I look at DotD and I see a big, glaring mass of fanservice. They would have to change a lot in any remake of it.

...but they're never going to remake it, because people loved it. For Cynder. All we can expect from here on out is the same thing, because it's successful. They don't care about the quality - they care about what makes money.

The next game (if there's gonna be any) will thus be titled The Legend of Cynder (and Some Purple Dude)

I kind of agree with Fashun. I always thought TLOS had potential; I actually used to like it. If they had to stay with TLOS I'd like it to be like ANB but with some changes to add to the fun and replay value. Who else would like to see a DotD remake but for it to be more like ANB?

I miss the way LoS was in ANB. TEN's story was fine as well... then in DotD it just wasn't the same series anymore. I wish they'd go back to the potential and quality that ANB had... my first playthrough of it was just... magical.

*sigh*

It was all destined to go to hell as soon as Cynder became popular.

It took me a while to figure out what all of these random letters meant, too. These are the ones I know:

TLoS: The Legend of Spyro
ANB: A New Beginning
TEN: The Eternal Night
DotD: Dawn of the Dragon
YotD: Year of the Dragon
AHT: A Hero's Tail

There are others, I know this for certain, that I either forgot, or don't know. Either way, hope this helps!
