The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

• Action/combat orientated
• New breath abilities, fury attacks, melee and aerial combo attacks
• Upgradeable breath abilities
• The new storyline explores Spyro's origins, all the way back to when he hatched and was raised by a family of dragonflies
• Fire, Earth, Electric and Ice breaths.
• The villain is a female black dragon called Cynder.
• Krome Studios are taking care of the Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and GBA versions whilst Amaze Entertainment are making the DS version again.
• Five bosses to fight during the game
• Spyro returns to the skies
• Elijah Wood as the voice of Spyro
• David Spade as the voice of Sparx
• Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.
• Named enemies. A lot of creatures that Spyro attacks will have their own individual name (randomly assigned except for significant enemies such as bosses or some small creatures). You can read a complete list of all of the bits of the names, and view a Random Enemy Name Generator.

i can save and this game is easy and short but my 3rd fav but i do wish it would be a little longer

I just beat the game and it is stupid how you repeat the game with everything but can't save.

At the end you didn't become DS,
you just gained his purple fury/convexity breath that should of been an unlockable...

this was kinda my first series. (i was introduced to YOTD and ANB at the same time but too young too know the difference) so i thought the fighting was normal. i love how you can become darkspyro and use his fury at the very end. rules!

The game was short, but it was decent enough to keep my attention. I'm not a fan of constantly beating people up though. It gets boring after a while.

I've played and beeten this game on the ds, and I got 100% within a few days, I was so attached- if I stiil had it I wouldnt be typing this, I would be playing invincibly and without an end to the fire, electricety, ice, and earth-maby a little disco as well-not somuch- oo maby even playing as cynder

its after the mud monster things in the swamp if you stand just outside the door where you can see the monkeys the medium one MIGHT be dancing. i think its just to watch when your far away enough

She was like 4 and i remember that we went in to woolworhts and she picked it up and saw spyro and I was gobsmacked, i was tranced by the fact he could glide and he looked so pleasing to the eye!

I totally agree evilcynderrules+spyro buddy.
I show my sis that bit but she doesn't seem to be that interested. She was the one who got me into spyro in the first place so I can't understand why she hates ut now. :/
