Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

  • Action/combat orientated
  • New breath abilities, fury attacks, melee and aerial combo attacks

I loved this game because when fighting Cynder, it wasn't like... how do I say this... it wasn't like pokemon or whatever, when they attack, you attack, they attack, ect. Not like that AT ALL! That's what made this game so great. You attack while you can, because all the other times you're trying to dodge everything. LOVE DIS GAME smilie.

When I had to fight Cynder in space I kept chasing the energy eels and fell of the edge alot.

it is a shame that they finished the trilogy like that it meant that spyro had nowhere to go from there... so i agree with you :/

see im the opposite i reckon spyro would have been fine if they just kept making independant games like heros tail and dragonfly coz now they really cant build the franchise as it was any more

this is a great game but i agree it is kinda darkish and scary and in the valley of avalar you can just relax (dotd) even when enemies are coming im just like "sure sure whateva" and i feel ALIVE!!
This game is less.. well.. like that.. but i still luv it smilie

i really dont love this game so much it's all so dark and frightning (im not saying i was scared) but seriously in every other game in spyro apart from new begining and eternal night i could find a piece of sun and happy grass(hunter) was and is amazing in dawn of the dragon but should have been in the rest of the series it may have made it suck less
