The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

Action/combat orientated
New breath abilities, fury attacks, melee and aerial combo attacks
Upgradeable breath abilities
The new storyline explores Spyro's origins, all the way back to when he hatched and was raised by a family of dragonflies
Fire, Earth, Electric and Ice breaths.
The villain is a female black dragon called Cynder.
Krome Studios are taking care of the Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and GBA versions whilst Amaze Entertainment are making the DS version again.
Five bosses to fight during the game
Spyro returns to the skies
Elijah Wood as the voice of Spyro
David Spade as the voice of Sparx
Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.
Named enemies. A lot of creatures that Spyro attacks will have their own individual name (randomly assigned except for significant enemies such as bosses or some small creatures). You can read a complete list of all of the bits of the names, and view a Random Enemy Name Generator.

In The Legend Of Spyro A New Beginning for DS, on the 2nd level of Dante's Freezer, When you start go left, And I saw Crash Bandicoot tied up on a log and fire underneath him, I was just wondering why the Company did that

in this game Cynder can only breathe fire, in Dawn of The dragon she can breathe out Posin, Fear, wind, shadow and fear! thats very strange......

Ya but one problem with this game, not enough levels! but what isent fair is cynders fire breath versus spyros, i mean i know shes giant and evil but it would be awsome to be able to breath fire like that.

I got on cristmas and i completed it in 4 hours but still i loved big cnder but the small cnder was ugly but still its a good game espaly purple power!!!!!!!!!!!

i think this one is a little bit better than enertal night. coz you get to fly!

but also on enternal night you get to be DARK SPYRO. dark spyro is cool. i dont know which is better..... enternal night, or new begging??

I remember getting this game for my 12th birthday, i didn't even know it was out. I played it first thing and stayed on it all day. I thought the graphics and combat system compared to the original series was phenominal. But fair enough the originals didn't have much combat

The storyline was strong and some of David Spades ridiculous comments made me laugh a few times. The final battle with cynder was very fun. If dragon time was around then i would of owned her

I think the breaths are better in this game than the eternal night
