But, you guys might hate me for thinking like this, i read that the Animation Picture Co. has just formed last year and so far they've penned Dr. Dolittle 4 and made two movies that seem to be about garfield. I was just thinking, what if they don't have enough experience and they actually kill the spyro legacy by making a crappy movie???

Call me a cynic but the lack of credits for the animation company and the writers makes me think it will suck.

BUT lets all hope and pray that it will turn out very good and that it will reawaken the spyro fan in hearts of ppl everywhere

I'm kind of surprised, though not in the extatic sense O.o It does sound expecting that Spyro is bound to reach a cinematic format, but the experience of the company in question seems to worry me. Yet, their association with Jim Davis (the creator of Garfield) among their projects based on said comic strip cat showed that they should have some spokespeople from Sierra to try and give them some pointers on its direction and so forth.

I can't see much of a boost given to the franchise's morale through a CGI movie, but odds are it won't attempt to dwindle the fanbase or anything, so no worries about that. Still, this might be the strangest news I've heard all month, so goodness knows if they really WILL put it into practice.

Whoa! I am just shocked at the moment... I can't believe there might actually be a Spyro movie! I hope you find more details on this movie.

yes you know, know they like HAVE to make a movie, cuz all they've done so far is bought the film rights, anyway if they don't they'll be letting down al LOT of ppl

i just read the article, and it seems that they work w/ppl from fox, so they aren't TOTALLY inexperienced

Just throwing out guesses, but didn't the other video game movies have games in development during production, so they had to split the resources? I've got this itching feeling that Krome is gonna give us a 1-3 year intermission after the third TLOS.

My point was that Spyro may not be as bad as the other video game movies because of this.
