To elaborate further on my answer on how to vanquish Arborick;
There are three stages to this boss.
1) The first stage is where he is able to regenerate once he completes his spin attack. This part also comprises of three sections.
a. You need to keep sending out your fireballs ensuring that Arborick is completely alight (apart from his left arm) before he completes his first spin move.
b. He should only regenerate 50% of his health, you need to do your fireball attack again - but it will be easier this time as he should still have parts of him alight.
c. This time when he regenerates (25%), he will take a step towards you and this will make it easier to get his left hand. He will complete another spin move and then it will go to a cut scene and the second stage will begin.
2) You will be only able to see Arborick's head. Just keep using your fireball attack watching out for his fist slam move. Keep going until Arborick disappears. This stage is over quite quickly.
3) Arborick now clambers onto the platform that you are on and you can only see his feet. All you have to do is attack his feet until his health bar depletes. Watch out for his foot stomp move.
REMEMBER! - If you die at stage two or three you will have to start again.
Good Luck!

To Destroy Arborick: You need to set fire to both arms, legs, torso and head before he begins his spin move - which allows him to regenerate. Some degree of accuracy is required here as you have a limited amount of time before he begins his spin move.

I thought he said something about Avalor. I was trying to listen to this, but there was so much background noice, and Mol-Yair kept talking in a hushed voice. And, on the plus side to this, my younger brother and my older sister were talking so loud that I missed half the stuff they said. Thank you, "spyro the great" for that valuable piece of information. (And, on a side note, have rested the case of a rumor floating around everywhere that Hunter was going to return to the Legend Of Spyro game.)
u guys no tha if u lisen closly to spyro on skabbs ship u will here him say "you will meet hunter in avalar"
To "Dragon Lord" and "chaoscrazy":
Here is all of Gaul's levels of power.
Level 1: You cannot flame him, or use your fury on him (since Gaul zapped you and weakened your breath abilities). You must avoid the attacks he does (including his sword slashes and his fireball). When he starts to lean back, make sure to avoid him by jumping away from his swords. You get hit by the swords, you will automatically die (unless you have full health, then you'll sometimes-which is rare, by the way-get reduced to one more hit point before you die). After Gaul jumps after you with his swords 4,5, or 6 times, they'll get stuck in the ground. That is the time you must hit him. You can hit him about 4 to 5 times, before he teleports away from you, or tries to slash you. (I find that Dragon Time is much more evicient to use when Gaul is stuck. I was able to get in 7 hits overall before he teleported away!!!!) Watch your back as well. You fall off the edge, you will die (since it's a bottomless pit).
Level 2: Watch the cutscene. You're in a new arena. This arena also has a bottomless pit. You now can use your breath abilities here as well. You also have Convexity Breath. Use your Convexity Breath on Gaul when he tires out. But before you hit Gaul with this breath, you must dodge his laser eyes. He will sometimes get tired, and you can hit him 3 to 4 times. (Notice I said "sometimes".) Next, he'll do his tornado move in order to suck you in. Gaul will come after you, but don't give up and let him suck you in!!!! You can charge away from Gaul, but when he comes after you, go in a different direction. Dragon Time can be useful here, and you can also glide through the tornado without it sucking you up. If you successfully avoid his tornado, Gaul will take a while to recharge. Use your fury on him (if you have it), continuously hit him, or use your new breath on him. (NOTICE THE INFINATE GREEN GEMS AROUND THE ARENA!!!!) You can probably get about 7-8 hits on him with your melee before he finally is fully charged. He'll then chuck fireballs all around the arena. To dodge this, just simply avoid him by going to the other side of the arena. They won't hit you. Then, he'll sometimes start to walk toward you and slash you. Just stay away from Gaul to avoid this attack. The whole thing repeats until you've finally finished this level of power off. (NOTE: If you die in this level of power, you will have to start the fight all over again with Gaul's first level of power.)
Level 3: Watch the cutscene. Then, all you have to do for his 3rd level of power is just hit him. It's that easy!!!! He won't even come after you!!!! Just keep hitting him until he's dead!!!! (NOTE: If you don't hit him, he'll come after you, and kill you with physical attacks, and it's back to level 1 of Gaul's power.) So, just kill him already!!!! (Convexity Breath's Fury Power will instantly kill him!!!!) You've defeated Gaul!!!! Sit back and enjoy the ending (which I think is very sad, by the way).

Tips for fighting Skabb (the 2nd fight):
Situation: A round floating platform. Lots of running in circles for you here.
Breakdown:
Basics - Run in circles to avoid him. Save your green bar for his weakness.
Random - Fire the cannon! - Darn birds... He fires a cannon at you, just run in a decent sized circle. Don't go back and forth, you're more likely to get hit. Circles. Run in circles.
1 - Little monkeys (4) - Kill'em. They're monkeys.
2 - Purple sword - This is his weakness. Run away at first, let him get close, and double jump to dodge his swings at you. Three dodges, and he'll try shooting circles at you. You can just run away, but it's safer to avoid his attacks in a controlled manner. When he does the circles, jump over them. Single jump for the first, then double jump for the next three. They get longer each time, so watch out for the last. Then, get really close and quickly tap fire breath at him as fast as you can until he's done resting. If you max out fire and do it fast and soon when he's done with the circles (right after the fourth wave) you can get him down > 1/2 way.
3 - Mortar shells - You get little shadows, then big shadows, then fiery doom. Just be careful and lucky, these are random => no running in circles.
4 - Big bomber monkeys (4) - Lots of big bomber monkeys. Kill'em. Watch your back.
5 - Purple sword again - Same old story. You should be able to kill him this time. If not, it loops around again. If he gets down to his last bit of health, maybe use your fury, your call there.
Try to max out your fire, or whatever you're comfortable with. These are the best tips I can give you. Good luck!

I'm actually looking forward to this game.
Fanfic wise I'm becoming a SpyroxCynder shipper.
Maybe, just maybe, they will come together in the new one?
I hope so. :]
