Spyro the Dragon
Gnasty Gnorc has returned from exile and has unleashed evil magic on the Dragon Realms, trapping the dragons in crystal and raising an army of Gnorcs. Spyro, with his friend Sparx the Dragonfly, is the only dragon left who can traverse the six Homeworlds, free the dragons, and save the day. Guide Spyro as he glides through the Dragon Realms, toasting colourful enemies with his fiery breath and encountering countless puzzles and adventures along the way.
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! / Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer
Spyro has been brought to the land of Avalar to defeat the evil sorcerer Ripto who has brought war to Avalar's Homeworlds. Each Homeworld is being held captive by Ripto and his minions and it's up to Spyro to defeat them and bring peace to Avalar's realms. In this adventure, Spyro powerflames, supershots, and headbashes his way through enemies while completing unique challenges such as herding strange beasts, target shooting, and defeating ravenous dinosaurs.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
The Dragon Realms are celebrating the 'Year of the Dragon' when a mysterious cloaked figure emerges to steal all the Dragon Eggs. Under the spell of the evil Sorceress, an army of Rhynocs is now guarding the helpless eggs in the Forgotten Realms. With new and old friends, Spyro is on a quest to recover the lost eggs, defeat the Rhynoc army, and stop the evil Sorceress. Turn up the heat in this adventure by exploring the mysterious realms and completing outrageous challenges, such as pulling off sick tricks on a skateboard and stepping into a boxing ring.

this game is pretty good, i still like the first one the most though
Loved this game. Even played it back in the days. Still feel good to have experince again.
I was a little worried after seeing the trailers because of what they did to Nestor and because the lighting was a little weird (like the show in the pictures above) but I just beat the first game 120% and it looks like they adjusted all of that before release. I'm very happy with this remaster of one of my favorite childhood memories (:
I agree! The music and art style are growing on me, but some of the re-done mechanics are a bit grating...
I bought my brother this game (seeing as it's not out for Switch) and he says it's VERY buggy (even after waiting hours for the update to download/install) he still loves the music and style.
This game is so amazing, I get this weird sensation and vibe every time I stumbled upon something I forgot was in the game. I've already got platinum trophy and 100% Spyro 1 and 3 so far. Cannot wait to play these over again
WOOOOOO finally had time to play this!!! So good. Taking me some time to get used to all the changes but man it's good! YOTD feels a little rushed sadly as it is my fave but hey hoe! EEEEEEE
I cant wait! I bought a ps4 just for spyro coming back and im soooo exited! Hopefully this will sell good even with that download issue.. Yeah a lot of people are turning away from this game just because of that..
I don't like how the implied comparison between the originals and new games suggests that the originals are bad. The originals were at least as revolutionary for their time as RT has the possibility to be now.
What I mean is that both are great looking and not necessarily comparable as to which is arbitrarily better. Especially because we don't have access RT outside of demos.

Owned by Activision
I'm so upset this isn't being released on the Switch. I mean I get it looking back at the original games but they would get a good chunk of money releasing on the Switch.
Who wants this on Nintendo Switch?
i've got mine pre-ordered
