Another new console debut for Spyro, this time the Nintendo DS; the successor to the GameBoy Advance (well, close enough).

Experience the magic, live the adventure! Spyro returns home to the dragon realms to find them in ruins. He soon discovers that a powerful magic force has banished everyone to the mysterious Shadow Realm. Spyro must master the use of magic and hone his skills - take touch-screen control of the fire-breathing dragon and save the day!

Spyro: Shadow Legacy takes use of the DS's touchscreen by way of inputting spells which are shapes and symbols. One screen shows the action, the other the menu. Originally it was announced that the wireless feature would also be utlised by way of trading collectable creatures though this didn't make it to the final game. Shadow Legacy features a levelling system for the first time in the Spyro series, the more enemies you defeat the more skill points you earn to put into Spyro's strength and abilities, you'll also be able to put your experience towards building Spyro's collection of magical powers and martial arts combat abilities.

Nevernind, i actually beat it right after i posted that message!!!!

and u've beaaten the game. and gotten all of the eggs... and i now know the secret spell...


check out the spoiler Glitch (happened to me on my game):

u know what, when you are an egg, and you save the game, exit the game, then go back into it, after that, go to the spell page, and do the egg spell again, you will turn back into spyro, and he will be sitting down, use the egg move thing board, or the directional buttons, spyro will be dragging his butt on the ground, and moving where ever you go to... It is halarios! 2 get it 2 stop, save game. turn off, turn on.


Note: this glitch only worked 1nce 4 me.

this game was the easiest by far for me i can complete it in two hours or less 100% depending on the ammount of gems you get earlier on in the game i prefere levelling up loads first tho btw not boasting or talking big 4 want of a betta word but actually can complete it hat fast...did they ever continue the story tho coz there was definatley a cliff hanger at the end

I'm pretty sure you have to phase into a different realm - there's one on the side of the arena when you're fighting him.
