this game I think was made in 1998. I never thought the play station was that old, well its not soooo old. I am pretty the same age. Any way I hope this game is good or more. can someone tell me if the ps3 cant play all the games from the ps1 to the ps2 please? I wold love to know. thanks!! :)
Dude I recommend you don't talk about doom on this page because haven't you ever heard of those kids Eric Harris and Dylan (I forgot his last name) remember 1997 at the high school and if you don't know what I mean by now I'll just say they brough their game Doom into our world in a way... 
@Torchsheep: I love your avatar, you dont know how many times I have watched that thing on youtube, most hilarious thing ever! I dont like the weird storyline of this game, but I do love the whole childishness and freedom of it and how spyro trots! Sooo cute!
For me, the first time round this game took a very long time for me to complete, and that wasn't even 120%, it took me a little longer to get that, but now when I take my time it can take me just under a week, or a week exact.
this game was awesome! it seemed longer on vids though. it seemed kinda short but very fun!
Ever since my childhood I've always thought that this one was Insomniac's first game, but it wasn't until 2008 or 2009, I can't remember which year it was that I found out Disruptor was their first game, and Spyro the Dragon was the second. It's interesting to know that they got their ideas from Doom to make Disruptor, I'm guessing they got ideas from Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot, and possibly Argonaut's Croc to make this one. And in my personal opinion, this beats Croc and Crash anyday, even though those two are pretty decent games.
I mean THE second game Ive ever played the first being Crash Bandicoot
