Story

The story and background for the new types of toys is as detailed below:

In Skylanders Trap Team, Kaos continues his ongoing quest to rule over Skylands. He has discovered the location of the legendary Cloudcracker Prison -- a fortress built entirely out of the magical substance Traptanium and home to Skylands' most nefarious baddies. In an attempt to build his own army of foes, Kaos blows up the prison, releasing the most wanted villains and blasting shards of Traptanium to Earth in the form of Traps. Now it's up to Portal Masters to recapture all of the escaped villains using powerful Traptanium Traps and defeat Kaos before it's too late!

Characters

All pre-existing figures work with Trap Team but of course there is a whole slew of new toys to collect. First to note are the 18 new Trap Masters, Trap Masters are a larger Skylander toy that wields a translucent "Traptanium" weapon and has an advantage when fighting the capturable villains. There are also 18 new core Skylanders who will join the fight, new mini versions of old characters as well as several reposed fan-favourites from previous adventures.

To help differentiate between the old and new sets, the base of the Skylanders for Skylanders Trap Team is coloured red instead of the green/orange/blue currently seen on the Spyro's Adventure, Giants and SWAP Force toys.

Traps

Another new toy added with Trap Team is the Trap. These translucent crystals are made of Traptanium and are essential for capturing the various villains. Each Trap is a specific element and allows you to capture villains that match that element.

the other versions had also glitchess so that they had to remove parts dont blame it on the wii

The Wii had the most glitches, and they had to permanently remove certain parts from all versions so the Wii version was the same as the others.

and the other consoles has glitches what the wii didnt have

No it's not. I've seen lots of people complain about the Wii version's glitches, and almost all of the Wii glitches aren't on the other consoles. There is even a glitch on the Wii that makes it impossible to complete Telescope Towers in over 15 minutes, because the game will freeze with 15 minutes of playing Telescope Towers. Because of that glitch (which is Wii-only), it's impossible to 100% it on the first try.

VVV The 360 and PS3's only hardware limitations from others are their graphics. They can easily fit a 40 - 50 chapter Skylanders game. Look at *shudder* COD : AW. Has a large campaign and it fits on PS3 and 360.

#17664 Qcumber 11:24:49 12/05/2015
I agree. Xbox 360 and PS3 don't need to be dropped.

Also, I think it might be possible to make a New 3DS version of SSA using the same engine the Wii had. Nintendo have already ported a Wii game to the N3DS (Xenoblade Chronicles), so SSA might be possible too. I don't know about the other Wii games though, but STT is on mobile platforms, so SSA might be possible for the Wii.

*I meant N3DS instead of Wii in the last sentence.

VV They did the same for 2.0.

Exactly, Wii is older than the other two. "It's only fair" isn't a legitimate reason. There's no reason to drop 360 or PS3 yet.

There's no reason to drop the 360 or PS3 yet. They arnt as old as the wii for 1 and they are both still good functioning machines.

disney infinity 3 has dropped the wii for their game releasing this year. There's not much reason for skylanders not to do the same.

if they drop the wii its only fair if they drop the ps3 and xbox 360 then they can make some progress and there are more wii users than ios android and kindle fire

Alright, let's put this out there.

Sky 5 HAS to drop the Wii.

One reason the first 3 were fun after the campaign was finished was Battle Mode. I finished TT in a few days and only touched it when I got new figs.

Sky 5 can have SOOOOOOO much more potential if they drop it. Short chapters, longer story. TT had 22 chapters. Imagine having 40 - 50 chapters. That would be a game worth buying...

I thank you for reading this.

VV Yeah, they do tend to have a lot of space, just not the better graphics.

V PS3 and XBox 360 should be fine.

They should just have it on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and maybe PS3 and Xbox 360. That'll help them focus more on gameplay and features.

I really don't feel like anything from iOS,android, or kindle fire should be a available platform for sky 5 it crashes way to often lot's of lag and at the worst time and there is more i had to even delete the game after i got the light pack money well spent progress wasted next time cause i don't think the hand held devices can handle it and they should drop the wii to.
