In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story

Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

The Dark Spirit is a fan-made game created by bioncle2809, destinystar. It's NOT a new Spyro game, I don't see why some fans don't read the uploader's comments, and just think a fan-made title of a fan-made Spyro game is a new official Spyro game.

Because they're going in a different direction from the movie.

Because of this, it makes me feel that they might not continue TLOS, because the movie was based on TLOS, and they said they were going in a different direction from the movie..... Return of the originals anyone? =D

There WILL be a new Spyro game. There was information leaked from Activision. But it's not 100% confirmed.

Cheat codes in that game only got u so far Superspyrofan. Most of us didnt care 4 them and still beat the game. I thought it was AWSOME al the way through. But thats just me...

Meh, the way they introduced it was cool, I did enjoy the first three levels of the game, stunning graphics, nice levels (up to Dragon City) The voice-acting is still annoying, I liked how they thought up a couple of references from Spyro 2, which were Avalar and Hunter, didn't think much of the flying, I just thought it was a gimmick, the combat is worse, the levels later on get hard and annoying, also boring, like the prequels to this franchise, but since I really liked how they opened it at the beginning, and the Valley of Avalar was beautiful, I'll give it a 3/5. (and also the fact that they give you decent cheat codes so at least I could beat the game unlike TEN)
