In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story
Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

I think that Cynder and spyro have to run away, and cynder and spyro are about to confront eachother about their love, when this new boy dragon comes along (Inferno) and he says that he's ignitus nephew and Cynder falls for him instead!

thats amazing purple thats a great thought but 1 problem even if u do come up with an idea for a TLOS game they still wont accept it i know that and i dont like the idea of spyro running away i think it should be that spyro goes after malifor with cynder and have the gurdians come and babysit the egg and when spyro a and cynder get home they find that their egg hatched into nina if u ever saw her on you tube and then again have ember and flame in it 2 so it would be like the old spyro and the new 1 mixed together that would be really cool and ember and flame would be having a baby 2 and but they didnt know until the end well that was my summary of my spyro game
my idea was spyro and cynder were grown up and they were hiding in a cave in the swamp and the guardians had been looking for them for a year and there final place to look was the swamp so they found them and spyro didnt reconize ignitus because he was the chronicler and they said that malefor (spirit) had come looking for them for revenge and spyro said he was tired of fighting and flew off and cynder chased after him after she told the guardians a secret (she was going to have an egg)

That's not because they plan to. That's all a coincidence. For Insomniac, it's because after 3 games they ran out of ideas. For LoS, they closed the entire story.
well usaly they make 3 spyro games per company for example the first 3 spyro games are made by the same company and the TLOS games are made by the same company and there is 3
It wouldn't really excite me. I'd just be wondering how they could possibly continue the story. Otherwise, it's a Spyro game.

Yeh, they put it in the past and moved on. Maybe you should do the same and stop tellin us things that will excite us when there not true! 
The only new Spyro game is Skylanders. LoS is dead and gone.
