In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story
Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

well i did it i completed spyro dotd i did nearlly cry because i was spyro in a costume so hearing what cnder said made me happy 
im at the last leval with the torches im shaking with exitement and ive told my mum that i might cry when i play my game because of the end cut scene i cant wait to see it because its sad and heartwarming from what cynder says to spyro
i really hate those elite enamies on the first leval i tryed the elite with alot of the elements high and i died on the second hit even when using the fury breath help!!!
I did like the collectibles in this game.
When you first get to level, it's about looking in the smallest of places to search for key items like armour and spirit gems.
i agree with cynderstar12 its a place of exploring and about being impossiple to find things
True, i didnt really think of it that way. 
I think that's meant to be the break in the game, I guess. In TEN and ANB it was all like fight, fight, fight. But the valley of Avalar gives you a break to explore and rescue and do simple yet back and forth tasks.
Valley of Avalar is a really fun level to play. Theres lots of action that goes on there, plus, its soooooo pretty!!
I still only like the Valley of Avalar. Strange how that's the only level in the whole game that I like the best.
