In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story
Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

V I understand that, however, the U.B. Funkeys were a computer only thing weren't they? What was it even about?
People.... Please remember that Skylanders did not start this ''toy to life'' thing... it was U.B Funkeys.
V Yeah, i guess so. Whenever i look at infinity I just go 'pfft no originality' or 'jeez ripoff much' I mean, ONE 'toys come to life' series is enough. Infinity's... not worth it in my opinion.

So I've recently bought this game again for the PS3, and it's not too bad, the combat is a bit glitch with the hit detection, other than that, it's been okay for the most part. I've gotten up to the Dragon City, and I'm just about to head off to the ramparts, I know this is where it begins to get a bit tricky, I haven't played it in a while though, been busy, but I should get back to it soon.
V I agree, LoS is definitely the most suspenseful series Spyro has to offer. I don't care what people say about the reboots, however they all deserve respect in their own rights. First ever spyro games have that simple yet fun gameplay which anyone can enjoy (which is quite rare in itself), LoS spyro has an amazing storyline and graphics (don't get me started on the graphics 
) And Skylanders 1 - 4 is unique (until flippin' infinity came along) and well made in the sense that YOU CAN PUT TOYS ON A PORTAL AND USE THEM IN GAME! I mean, break through in technology peeps!

Guys cynder is NOT purple. She APPEARS to be purple cause she would look weird actually black. Also In Avalar, the hermit calls her
"You are the black dragon, Cynder, The terror of the skies, the dark masters puppet" (chap 3, avalar)
