Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

Yeah this game was awful no story , no other playable characters, glitch ridden , but this was actually my first spyro game (laughs) and I did not think it was the worst the worst spyro game was A new beginning at least this one stuck with the original storyline instead of starting again from scratch

@ Mewnaphy: Some people did have a problem with this game because the gameplay was pretty much like the originals, but the reason that it is hated so much is that the general consensus about ETD is that it came very close to ruining the Spyro franchise beyond recovery. While the more recent Spyro games have taken a pounding from people who review video games for a living, ETD got pounded just as badly by Spyro fans.

Why is everyone against this game?I thought it was fun!I don't remember having alot of glitches.The loading screens took long,yeah,and the world would disappear sometimes.Still,this was the last Spyro game to have the oringinal games' feel.So saying this game is bad is sort of like saying the originals are bad!*shot*
BTW:The worst spyro game is probably Shadow Legacy!*ugh!*

I was lucky when it came to this game... for reasons I can't remember (probably related to both school and certain non-spyro PS2 games) I decided to rent this one from a local Blockbuster. What I do remember is the experience of playing the game, which even now leaves me with few good things to say about it. I was able to beat the game completely (100 percent completion) within the rental period, the virtually non-existent story meant that I didn't have to listen to cutscene after cutscene of horrible voice-acting, and I didn't end up spending my money (or the money of my parents) on this horror of a game.

Yeh, tell me about it!
I only play it to get it over with.
YORN...SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOO boring! and the winner of the worlds lamest Spyro game gos to...Enter the Dragonfly!
And to Top it all off it was My First Spyro game...I'm SSSSSSOOOOOOO embarrest<:}.
And i'll describe the Full In one word...Garbage!
I only keep it cause it's speciel to me.

It was so childish and boring that I didn't care to finish it. I still keep it in my collection of games though it isn't worthy. I hated this game very much!!
