Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

- Five bosses to fight during the game
- Spyro returns to the skies
- Elijah Wood as the voice of Spyro
- David Spade as the voice of Sparx
- Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.
- Named enemies. A lot of creatures that Spyro attacks will have their own individual name (randomly assigned except for significant enemies such as bosses or some small creatures). You can read a complete list of all of the bits of the names, and view a Random Enemy Name Generator.

I NEED TO find the GameCube version of this game. I want to see Volteer and everyone else again in their debut. I'm sorry, I just love the guardians so much.

I kind of agree, though the first two Legend of Spyro games were okay, I believe 'Spyro: A Hero's Tail' was the last really good Spyro game.

This game is really cool!! I wen't to Cynder's lair and when I battle her I try to make her go off the edge!!! Though when she does the game freezes!!! It will stay like that until you restart the game!! Also inside Convexity, I did som random things with Cynder!!! Sometimes if you run around for a while all of a sudden you don't hear Cynder!!! When I look back there she is stuck and not moving!!! Also when she flies, I try to get her ontop of a crystal and when she lands on it it sometimes breaks and Cynder won't be able to move but will slowly slide off the edge!!! 1 time I made her breathe fire while she was on the Crystal and it broke when she was still doing it!! She stops breathing fire but her mouth is still open and you can still hear her breathe fire!! And when you move around and stuff Cynder's head would to!! An easy way to defeat Cynder!!
