Whoops, I explianed the wrong thing!! I can't help you there, sorry. Dark52 or somebody might be able to help you there.
What I did was I kept throwing flame bombs at the train. What I did was KEEP MOVING!!! Keep moving and keep spitting flame bombs @ the train is all I can tell you, as I'm not good at explaining things. Hope this helps!! Maybe dark52 or another person could tell you more.
I am at the train level where the door is, the trains keeping coming & going through but i cannot figure out how i get through. If it is not so difficult can you share? Thanks
Dragginwings, i am currently had the train area, How do i do this? i Cannot figure it out. so far this has been the most difficult?
IT'S TOO HARD!! Cynder wasn't THAT bad, it's just that Mom made me get offa the PS2 when I FIRST met her. I just beat the game TODAY!!! It's wonderful !!! I think that Spyro likes Cynder... Neway, the train was MUCH too hard, my breath meter was always full while my health meter was empty. They could have been more genorous with the red gems. And it was hard to see the train w/ all the flame-bomb explosions. The next thing you know is your in the middle of the track, the train hits you, then a fireball lands on you, Spyro reacts and lands in the lava, get my piont?
Wtf? How did it take you forever to fight Steam (the train) and Cynder? Took me 10 minutes each.
OMG!!! I just seen the new spyro game at the mall!!! YAY!
Don't worry, artiste violet. It gets a wee bit frustrating in boss battles, espically The Train and Cynder, I managed the Train one after 'bout an hour, but Cynder, my gosh, it's toooo hard. That's the only bad thing about it, in MY opinion.
Dude If I get A DS, I'm Gettin mine in November. becuase my birthday is too far away for me. I'm very very nervous!
I think the reviews must have been written by some nazi-ating guy, then it would not have been so bad. I generally think that after beating it, it was a good game no mater how short it was. I tend to think that this game is a movie with all those cut-scenes and all you have to do to see the next cinema was to have fun setting peope on fire, tossing them around with lightning, and whaming them off cliffs (though there is a glitch that I always hate with the Cynder Commanders when you throw them off high places)
Alright, well I've played and finished the Gameboy Advance version of the game. It's not great but it's okay if you don't mind endless repetitiveness in both the level design and enemies.
I'm left wondering whether there's any need for a guide for this game as there doesn't appear to be anything beyond just killing the enemies that you come across and moving on past them. But I'll write one anyway.

the game boy version stinks! It's the worst game I have ever played. Every level is the same.
Aww man! im missing all the fun!
YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!! My copy came 2 days ago!! It's the no, THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPEN TO ALL MANKIND!!! I made it to Tall Plains already, too!!

First of all, the train (Steam) goes aroung the track in a circle until you get on top of one of the middle ones. When he is just across you and on the right ramp, Steam will charge you down and try jumping out of the way. (foxes tactic: just jump) The point is that eveantually he'll crash into a wall going strait and what I just told you before increases the chances. See when (or hear) when he crashes and his train will tilt up a little and the whole underside will appear, the weakest spot of Steam, this is where you can do alot of damege to him just by leating him crash over and over and over again (foxes tactic: flame em' all)
