Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

- The new storyline explores Spyro's origins, all the way back to when he hatched and was raised by a family of dragonflies

- Krome Studios are taking care of the Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and GBA versions whilst Amaze Entertainment are making the DS version again.
- Five bosses to fight during the game
- Spyro returns to the skies
- Elijah Wood as the voice of Spyro
- David Spade as the voice of Sparx
- Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.
- Named enemies. A lot of creatures that Spyro attacks will have their own individual name (randomly assigned except for significant enemies such as bosses or some small creatures). You can read a complete list of all of the bits of the names, and view a Random Enemy Name Generator.

well if u go on google images for "spyro" or "spyro backgrounds" it will give u a HUGE selection of pics that u can save them into a file then when you've done, u can go t ur file and right click on the image you wont and select "desktop background" and it will probaly apear in like tiles, so u right click on your desktop background and choose "properties" and then click on "background" and it will say "tile" and you click on the drop down list and on it some were it will say some thing like "fill" or "whole" and it will fill the whole desktop, but, it depends, it might go blury!(it depends on which pic u choose!)(i got a really good one!)(its spyro and sparx in front of a castle in darkness and spyro is breathing fire!!!)
i think he official Spyro site should get with it, and make a wallppaper that resembles the game cover, that would be awesome!! my desktop is getting bored, lol

i've seen a pic of Elijah Wood and he looks a bit scary! cos his eyes are wide open like hes staring at u when u look at it!!!
I beat this for 100000000000000000000 times and I have played one save slot for over that of a day!! (24 hours)

It's funny how I finished the game in 5 hours and 45 mins on the second time I played but my sister struggles to even fight Frogweeds. Sad.

well it took me from 3 o clock when i bought it, till 5 o clock!!!( but i have a tallent for completing games! no one else i know have spyro games or even like spyro!)
This game is sooo awesome. It took me 3 days to complete it cuz it was kinda easy but it was aaawesome!!!! Yeah buddy!
