The legend continues in the second installment of The Legend of Spyro trilogy with the Ape King arriving at the Temple of Souls in an effort to usher in a new age of darkness. As Spyro, players must unlock the secrets behind a series of strange visions that he is having and find the power to defeat this terrifying new force.

When you have completed this game you can change Spyro into Dark Spyro and breath fury. This is true I have tried it.

if u have the game on the wii here are some cheats!
To do a triple jump, you do your regular double jump and then press B while in the air.
You can easily defeat the scorpions by either using a fury (easy way) or by using your knock-up attack to force their claws open and regularly attack them when their claws are open (hard way)
When you have completed Story mode save the file and go to the 'Main' menu and select 'Extras'. Then load your saved game file and choose 'Dragon Challenges'. Beat the 5 challenges and the game will inform you that you have unlocked Dark Spyro. Return to the 'Main' menu and load your game again and save it and select Dark Spyro by using the element change button. Dark Spyro is last in the elements sequence.
When you complete the game 5 Dragon challenges will be unlocked in the 'Extras' screen.

Some random website when I was searching for a walkthrough before I found this website.
ooooh thats cool. but a black dragon?? where did you hear this?
I heard that there was a glitch that when you breath fire on the first jellyfish it will fall and reveal a cave with a black dragon in it and it will give you shadow breath if you kill it. I have never tried and it might not be true.
