Another new console debut for Spyro, this time the Nintendo DS; the successor to the GameBoy Advance (well, close enough).

Experience the magic, live the adventure! Spyro returns home to the dragon realms to find them in ruins. He soon discovers that a powerful magic force has banished everyone to the mysterious Shadow Realm. Spyro must master the use of magic and hone his skills - take touch-screen control of the fire-breathing dragon and save the day!

Spyro: Shadow Legacy takes use of the DS's touchscreen by way of inputting spells which are shapes and symbols. One screen shows the action, the other the menu. Originally it was announced that the wireless feature would also be utlised by way of trading collectable creatures though this didn't make it to the final game. Shadow Legacy features a levelling system for the first time in the Spyro series, the more enemies you defeat the more skill points you earn to put into Spyro's strength and abilities, you'll also be able to put your experience towards building Spyro's collection of magical powers and martial arts combat abilities.

hmmm, i disagree, it annoys me because you can't think of it the same way as the other games because it's on a different format... it just doesn't appeaal to me+ they've mixed the old spyro wth that of spyro a hero's tail.
so all of u who r sayin this is good............. it's not..... :S

I agree with you, cynder999. This game does have a lot of glitches, and sometimes it can be boring, but other than that, it is a lot of fun. And not to mention the music is awesome, and creepy too.

EvilCynderRules, be quiet. We know that the plot is sorta messed up, but its fun going around butt kicking enemys. And have you ever fought the Shadow minion in dragon form? If not, then your missing out on a lot of fun.

My Rating for this game would be 8/10, fun game, but sometimes very puzzling and annoying. You can sometimes do missions in the wrong order your meant to do them, which messes up your game and takes a while to fix. But, on the bright side, the bosses are fun to play with. And the secrets to undercover are big...

if u like try to jump, half the time u think ur gonna land then u end up fgallin down into some freakin hole! The levels r unbalanced! I've got really far in it, infact i've finshed it, but belive, u wont enjoy it. smilie

This game is not worth buying it is so boring so I traded it for a better game. There are dragons that you have never seen before and the story is messed up.

plus go to the small tent in dragon shores or whatever it was called then turn to shadow relms and there are alot if easy enimies there so thats another place
