i always thought of an idea for a remake, with new worlds, boss stages like in year of the dragon, powerups, the ability to swim under water. i've made doodles of level layouts. one included the castle in the artisan world to be acceses and there would be a whirlwind to the top and you could go on top of the tunnel where you go to the balloonist for gems. another included sketches for bosses that would be for magic crafters, peace keeprs, and dream weavers. but it will never happen.
this was the 2nd spyro game i got! i thought that YOTD was the only and first spyro game...was i wrong....this game was sweet!

My favorite world in this whole game is the Magic Crafter worlds. I love every single one of them. I wish it was a real place because i wouldnt mind living there! Tee Hee!!

Hey SPYROTHEDRAGON1, Ijust thought of a great idea. What if they remake a the spyro games that are for PS1 for Ps2? They story line and everything would be exactly the same but it would just have the graphics a PS2 would produce. What do you think?

i definitely want more spyro but like i think a new one should be like the very first one but make it so you can fly whenever or however you want it but i love the original and i've played every other spyro game out there and NOTHING beats the original its amazing the whole feel and how it sucks you in the GAME!
but definitely a new SPYRO!

I just set a record that should go in the spyro world record book. I played through this whole game today without losing a single life!!! But when times were hard, i had to constantly feed spar to stay alive!!

On the offical site of Sierra, on of DotD's creators spoke: We will defenatly make more spyro games. As for more games in the Legend of Spyro, if we sell enouth DotDs then we will make more of this series.
