In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story
Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

i was looking on utube and one said that its coming out on the 3rd of october. But i'm not sure.-.
i think spyro is awsome and that he can finally fricken fly i mean come on! the first one he can fly twice but in the second one he doesn't fly at all!

well in one of the pictures in the gallery Cynder looks like she so confessing something to spyro but we will have to wait and see
Im new and like to read the chat and im a big fan of all spyro games and after reading merlcks post i started thinking correct me if im wrong but in ANB cynder was a adult dragon and couldnt she have been made back to spyros size and in TEN at the end spyro turns into dark spyro so couldnt cynder have been born like that but is still a purple dragon but just dosent know it or is hiding it and dosent the start of the eternal night when the moons or planets eline i also have a theory is couldnt cynder working for the darkmaster in descise

if cynder wasint poised by th drk master she would only be able to breath fire but since she waz poisend she has drk powers
HERES THE WHOLE SPYRO STORY LINE

when th temple waz under attk ignitus took spyro's egg and hide it in a mushroom and let it go flow on the silver river..... soon sparxs mom and his dad found him and then spyro waz born and that same day sparx waz born so spyro is sorta older like 3min. Soon when sparx and spyro started playin the found out tha spyro could breath fire so afta his mom and his dad told him the truth he left home few hours of walking sparx taged along and soon the found ignitus then ignitus took them to th temple there he teached spyro fire then spyro goes to tall plains and rescues volteer then volteer teaches him lightning. then spyro goes to Mt. forge there he frees terador but evil cynder chases afta him terador goes to th temple for help then ignitus comes to th rescue then he fights cynder and he gets captured then terrador teaches spyro earth then spyro goes to get ignitus when he gets there cynder was about to open th portal but she opens it afta a fight with spyro then they goto convixcity a convixcity is like a place between worlds. then spyro fights cynder and turns her back using Chaos Power and turns her in to good.but cause of this he is drained of his powers temprely. then afta closing the portal spyro and cynder come back to the temple.
TEN
Another good year until At night cynder leaves sparx tells spyro and he goes looking for here he finds here but she still leaves spyro goes to sleep and in his dream he learns fire, DRGN time and sees a tree. then when the temple is under attk ignitus figurs out tha spyros bin hiding somthin so then he sends spyro the ancient grove and there he learns ice in his dreams and gets kidnapped by pirates afta deffeating Arborisk
then he is on a flying ship there he learns earth and defeats Skabb
and from there he heads to the white isle to meet th cronicle from there he goes to the well of soals to fight gaul. he kills him by turning into a shadow DRGN and rescues cynder but he was late th eclipse rezzarected the DRK MASTER and spyro freezes them all cynder and sparx and him also.....

Spyro is freed by Hunter and from there they must fight there way to th DRK MASTER a Drgn who is als capable of using the elements..........

One thing I do agree with, though is they did a bang up job with her coloring in DOTD. The lighting makes her look dark purple, but she is clearly black in the last two games and artwork. She can't just "magically" change.

Only Spyro and the Dark Maser are PURPLE... Cinder is BLACK and was under the CONTROL of the Dark Maser... and the crystal was ONLY a form of "frozen" protection... and these are dragons, their life span is way longer than normal. Spyro could be be 20 (not physical or mentally) for all we know.
Which makes me wonder... no matter what game it is, Sparks is always the same. lol, it could be ages on and Spyro is 100 years old... and here's sparks still flying around like it was yesterday!
