In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story
Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

U shoukd get to fight Cynder in the end after she get's corrupted again.
They should of put another cutscnene at the beginning of the 3rd part of the battle, and removed the part in the first cutscnene before u start to fight where Cynder get's corrupted, they should of put that before the 3rd battle cutscene so in the very last part of battle you have to fight Cynder and Malefor and he corrupts Cynder again byu kissing her right infront of spyro, and he get's al dark and does that thing where he goes "Raaaahhhh!" and comet dash fury Malefor.
Well they shouldent have made it SO hard, otherwise ppl wouldent like the game!

Because Malefor was the final boss, and the end of the legend of spyro series, they should of made it literally impossible! That would be an amazing end, so when you finally completed it, you would get to see Cynder saying what she says to spyro (Im not spoiling)

those balls he was spitting wasn't a problem for me either, just the last cut scene, I could tell what I had to do and I picked up blocking and dodging tectonics when I was playing the game.
THE ONLY THING THAT'S HARD ABOUT THE MALEFOR BATTLE IS:
For me, he rapidly spits out fire-balls, or the purple balls at me making it impossible for me to attack without him killing me ._.
