In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story

Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

what happened to malefor was kinda weird, ya know the purple dragon ghosts taking him? well it said on Hex's profile that she went to battle him in the underworld. does that mean malefor was dead at the end of this game or when Hex beat him? i dont think you can die twice.

plus if my dad wasn't a cop I would have NEVER EVER got into spyro for the truth here's how it happened my dad beacame a cop -> dad made friends with a guy named Tommy (who became a lutenint and one of dad's bosses and Tommy was his favorite boss because he allowed dad to do whatever he had to do to get the job done) -> I was born -> then I was around 7 -> Tommy gave me TLoS TEN -> I didn't understand anything about the game -> put it in my game stash -> 3-4 years later I found it in my game stash -> started playing it -> loved it and got addicted -> found this site -> completed the main story got all the health relics 4/5 magic relics above 20/40 quills got dark spyro and got all upgrades! -> and ya here I am typing this now on my story of how I became a Spyro player and THANK GOD my dad became a cop!

guys this was THE END of TLoS series but the original series might have another game due to how well skylander's is selling! I want all the spyro games the first one I played (the only one I currently have) is TLoS TEN I got addicted fast and completed the main story fast too then I searched random google stuff (IIRC) on spyro and found this site and now I'm here typing this

I really like how you openly expressed your opinion on this game on the page which has tons of fans of it.
No, that's not sarcastic, I really do think that's a cool thing to do.

And this is my least favorite Spyro game as well, but it's still okay, in my opinion, but certainly not the best.

I can't express how bad this game was. It was nothing but a bad god of war ripoff. With the "epicness", the leveling up and gems, the combat, the button sequences, and the level design. Not to mention the characters have no real personalities. Spyro: emo teen dragon. Cynder: emo teen dragon. Sparx: annoying useless fairy that does nothing but annoy people. Hunter: that THING is not Hunter. What do people see in this game? The combat system is garbage, the storyline is corny, and the gameplay is boring and repetitive. The first two LOS games were bad, but they look like year of the dragon compared to this.
