Nope, I wouldn't.
Haha, what?
How can you not care about gameplay?
Let's say in LoS, they couldn't charge. They couldn't fly. They couldn't use elements. They had the same plot as it did.
Is it still an "AMAZING" game?

...So...
If they couldn't use elements.... You would still call it a good game?
Or...They could use no elements and could only charge?

I don't care about the gameplay. I care about how the game is.
I agree there. The Valley of Avalar was blinding. :/
the plot is ok its kinda cheesie though and the most annoying part of this game 4 me is THE VALLEY OF AVALAR it is soo damn shiny!!
but i still luv this game

Yeah, I agree that gameplay is the thing that really matters.
That's cool if you like the other things. In my opinion, those are simply a bonus.
The gameplay is why I don't hate LoS, since I didn't care for the other aspects of it (plot, music, etc.).

Nope. The gameplay is the biggest thing that matters. You can have a great looking game with a good plot and voice acting, but crappy gameplay. The game will stink because of the gameplay.
Haha, you're judging it by the consoles it's on now?
Who cares about the controls? If you miss it so much, go play the Classics or whatever.

@Cynderfan1309 -
what i think about the gameplay:
MANY people i know miss the old controls, even if it just goes back to TLoS.
and it's not even for PS2, which was what most GOOD spyro games were for. anyway, i think that it's just not the gameplay that counts, but stuff like HOW THEY TOOK HIS NAME, and, oh, idk, how much they change it.

All Spyro games are cool in their own ways, if they were all the same it would get really boing.
*sigh* Dipressing..
All the Spyros are nice in their own way.
lets face it people, they are all fudge-ing awsome... just in different ways. but TLoS did steal the awsome name of spyro, and skylanders stole the awsome name of both of them.
Let me guess: you hate Skylanders because it "steals Spyro's name" and not because of the gameplay?
This is just too predictable and sad now.
