Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

This game is pretty good to play when I have nothing else to do, when I first got it I was amazed with the water effects.
There are haters for everything.

If it wasn't for the AWFUL loading times, Ripto coming back from the dead, the game being to short and spyro's obnoxious new voice, this game COULD have been good...

i think its ok... i mean sure theres an occasional glitch... but every game has that, just look at a heros tail... you can swim in the air! i dont encounter glitches that much... but thta glitch with the farmer at the end of space farms was FUNNY! i wish you could double jump though...

funny the only glitches i have had are: somtimes the game freezes but i still hear the sounds!
that only
happens like Once in a blue moon though....
um... *thinking* thats about it OH!! sometimes if i play the game for like more than 2 hours... the loading times slow down for a few games. yup thats all

I agree with you Cynderluv. The loading time are short, and here are the only glitches I found...: Sometimes when I exit a minigame, Spyro takes a while to wake up, sometimes it doesn't seem Spyro is moving his legs when he charges and.... I am always stuck on 3rd place during races.

@awesomespyros10 That would be great, wouldn't it? Honestly, I don't fancy Skylanders nearly as much as tLoS or the Classics. Still, that would be great smilie.

@Brokensoul

idnkt! (I did not know that; made that up.) I predict it will be a Skylanders game, and I wish they came out with a "Spyro Generations" or something like that. It would include the game play of the classic, the tlos, and the Skylanders (and yes, all other figures ARE playable). It would also feature a story to do with all of those Spyros. It would also reference famous Classic Spyro Glitches (swimming in the air), the fact of how high Skylanders Spyro flew (and why he somehow can't jump high), and tlos Spyro dancing after you waited a little while. That's my dream game, and I wish they can do that.

@awesomespyros10 You might know this: So, they are coming out with another game in 2013, but do you know if it's a Skylanders game or another "regular" Spyro game? Thanks smilie.

The majority says that this game ended "the glory days" of Spyro the Dragon. I disagree. Yes, they were glory days. But each game sold at least a million copies (with the acception of Tlos: ANB; half a million, and the handhelds). I think the glory days have been existing for just as long as Spyro's games were sold. From 1998-2013, the glory days will for sure STILL exist. 2014-more, only time will tell.
