Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

i found out a weird thing you go to where the farm is threw the gate then you go to the 'beach' and you swim under the water; then at the bottom of the net there is one part of the net where it is not all the way down, if you start headbutting there straight you will go out the other side and then you can "fly" in the air as high as you want but you look like ur swimming still. its fun you can even go to the other side and go over the fence and fly aroung there too. check it out!!

Whats so bad about this game people? It looks fine to me.
I loved the original 3. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage was the first game I ever played. I beat all 3 of them 100%. But this... This is horrible! Never, ever buy this. At first I was angry at Insomniac for making a bad game, and then realized, they sold the rights. Now I'm angry about that.
Spyro looked like an obese lizard, Sparx was a yellow rat with wings, and Moneybags was a d@mn Gypsy! Bubble breath was an incredibly stupid addition to the Spyro games. I do have to admit that I like the elements and upgrading of them, that has been added to the new games, but the rest... I just have one final thing to say.

Ok, I have to admit, there were quite alot of glitches, and the story was a bit boring, but the scenery and everything was pretty good. But still, the other Spyro games were HEAPS better...

after playing the first 3 games many times i was so excited about this one coming out. but they changed it so much it didnt feel like spyro to me, like the levels and the charecters and stuff, big dissapointment to me ;_;
they should bring out a spyro game thats just like the old ones, same graphics and that for old time sake, i bet alot of people would buy it, id love that
