Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

Ripto, in this game, is just plain CREEPY! He looks nothing like the one from Season of Fire and that one looks much better!

Many people think this is rubbish. It's just because this game was rushed to meet the publish date. If the creators had more time it probaly would be better. It's still a good game.

This is the very first spyro game i ever played. I didn't enjoy it much because it was kind of boring, i didn't encounter any glithces though. Years later when ANB came out, i decided to try it. Iam glad i gave the spyro games a second chance.

ive got this for ps2 and this game is terrible, but it's not as terrible as that one stupid spyro game where you have to dress up fairies.

I think Spyro 4 isn't rubbish. The glitches sometimes get on my nerves, but, then again, I have the GameCube version, which may not have all of the glitches.
