Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

i liked the gameplay, dont know much about glitches? my copy didnt have any that i know of

i know and the collision :/ but honestly, it isnt as bad as people say. they just follow the crowd. <.>

true...but it's hard 4 me 2 get the dragonflies, because they're so hidden!
why cant you people just move on and say this game wasnt so bad because it wasnt that bad it was just the stryline and glitchiness and at the end of the day it all comes down to the gameplay which was good.
worst. spyro game. ever.
only buy it for the sake of the collection... if you will, get the GC version... nearly no glitchs on my GC copy...
when i play this game on my ps2 i feel so guilty for even trying to prevent the glitches. 
once, i got near a waterfall in the game, and i kept hearing the loud waterfall noise coming from my T.V, so i paused the game with the noise still going on, and on, and on... it also loads slowly. if anyone doesn't have this game on ps2, or anything, i reccomend you don't buy it. i dunno... my game is scratched up, it could be that reason.

I don't like this game it's so glitchy and hard but other then that its good 
I have this game and one tme i was all the way at the theves den level. but at that time i dident have a memory card! and wile i was in one of the flying levels it froze up. i had to start over from the start after that. ;( stuped spyro 4.

It's a shame, this could have been a good game.
But all the older PS1 games looked better than this one. Ironic, eh?

this game was sooo hard and boring! i finished the 1st 3, but not this one, which is the 4th one!
