Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

What is the point of this Spyro game because I just got the game and I don't like the story line. I will still keep the game because I love playing Spyro game.

You don't need to know how to make a video game to say one is bad. Using that as a defense is undermining someone's views for an unjust reason.
This game was horrible, probably the worst game in the franchise (next to Spyro Fusion, anyway...) if not for the loads of glitches and bugs, then for the fact that it's too short and contains various pointless gimmicks. The breath powers were an excellent idea with a lot of untapped potential. The good news is, Hero's Tail comes after this and it does fix many things this game broke (while breaking others, go figure) but this is still a game everyone can give a miss without missing out on anything.

not so harsh, it wasnt bad. if you can make a better game link it to my guest book. then well see if the games bad. justice in the gameing world. 
This was a REALLY bad game. But compared to the newer games I'd take this because it's part of the original series.

I still have the game and rarley play it. I guess its pretty good the graphics are pretty good, and i agree with GamingMaster_76 its still Spyro.
Aran, just a heads up, this game is full of gltches... Not only that, but it chops up a LOT. But it's still fun at times.

It loads quite slow, apart from that it's a good game! 
2 unlock the 1 gate all u have 2 do is play on the dojo level it is EASY
this game IS THE WORST i made the right thing puting it in 2 the bin

but that ok. I just love listening to the music and definitely the mini-games they were fun and made spyro really adorable (I MUST FIND A GOOD COPY NOW!!!) i just noticed u said that before lol my bad dude. i don't scroll down, i press 'end' button cause it takes me straight to the bottom of the page.

I agree. I would play this game over TLOS games any day. Even though it's not the best, I still liked it. It's not as bad as people are saying. It's far too underrated, and it needs more love. :<
It may have glitches and all that, but some of the glitches where really fun, like the swim in the air glitch.
It's like the Insomniac games, which is good enough for me.
They should remake this game. It would be awesome if it was done properly...
