Spyro: A Hero's Tail

The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

you know what i disliked what sgt. byrd and the others said about the dragon eggs,such as eating them and all that, since those eggs are dragons yet to be born. after all we're talking spyro's fellow dragons. if i were spyro i'd tell them off for saying that stuff about dragon eggs.

Ausperk1128: Yes, you should try it out. There are subtle changes to it, like the gems are a currency, and are no longer collectibles, and Moneybags owns a shop and you can buy items from him with your gems. There's a few more differences too, but it's not a bad game to play.

Probably one of the most under-rated Spyro games out there.

I just completed this game the other day. Definitely one of my favorites. I found it cool you could swim in air once you found the glitch. I also liked the fact you could play as Flame or Ember. Overall, the game was not too easy nor too hard, a definite 10/10!

I used to be afraid of the spiders in the Crocovile Swamp and in the Blink Mini-Games, but now, they don't scare me anymore!

This is the only game that I have not completed of Spyro, including the Skylanders, but of course not Sklyanders: Swap Force considering that it hasn't even been released yet. Other than the DS Spyro games, I have all of them complete, but let me tell you, this one is extremely hard and I am so going to work to beat it!
