Spyro: A Hero's Tail

The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

i agree! i had just gotten 2 the icey wilderness, and i loved it, so far! then, my big brother wanted 2 play, so i reluctantly let him. i told him, when he was done, 2 not do anything else but give it back 2 me. so, he ends up forgetting, and deletes everything! i got soo mad! i like ember and flame, though! the're soo cute! :ember: ! :flame: ! ...is that how u post up those images?!

Ahhhhhhhhh those spinning ribs are annoying me! I can't get past the 2nd one. I wish that fairy would save long distance style. This is the ONLY part of the game that has kept me from advancing....(gripe, gripe, gripe...)

my first spyro game and it kept well away from the series and i sure was missing out then i tried the gba games and said "hey maybe the series isnt bad after all" and thats how i became a spyro fan

This is by FAR the best Spyro game yet. I loved it. It's so easy to get addicted to as well. The Ember model eggs are the easiest for me to collect, in fact, the Ember model was my first full set; and now I'm trying for the Flame model eggs.

Wish me luck!

(P.S: I believe that Enter the Dragonfly was one of the lamest too. It takes too long to load, Spyro's Movement is rubbish, and the dragonflies escaping doesn't make an AMAZING plotline)

I was thinking about getting this game...but I said, "NO! SAVE YOUR STORE CREDIT FOR ETERNAL NIGHT!" and about a week later,I got eternal night.
