Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

- The new storyline explores Spyro's origins, all the way back to when he hatched and was raised by a family of dragonflies

- Krome Studios are taking care of the Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and GBA versions whilst Amaze Entertainment are making the DS version again.
- Five bosses to fight during the game
- Spyro returns to the skies
- Elijah Wood as the voice of Spyro
- David Spade as the voice of Sparx
- Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.
- Named enemies. A lot of creatures that Spyro attacks will have their own individual name (randomly assigned except for significant enemies such as bosses or some small creatures). You can read a complete list of all of the bits of the names, and view a Random Enemy Name Generator.

We are on concurrent skies. My son has beat the enemies and rode the lift to the top and now we are stuck. There are four lasers shooting towards the lift. Not sure what to do next...

To tyrant: I had trouble with that, too. What I did is keep running (ok, gliding) around antil all of the platforms are there to get to her. Hope that helps, as I am not good at explaining things....

I finally got this game, and it is awesome! The young-sounding Elijah Wood seemed to fit Spyro more than just well. Gary Oldman was also good. And Cynder... the best Spyro villain ever! She was so good as a bad guy, and so cute in her normal form. I think SpyroxCynder is almost as good pairing as SpyroxEmber, but I still prefer the idea of Ember being Spyro`s lover. Not to mention the jokes, like the Manweersmall, hahah! Too bad Spyro looked a bit funny as a kid.
i'm stuck at the portal of convexity. how do you get to cynder after defeating her once?
