Released in October 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, is said to be the first of a new reset storyline and was developed by Krome Studios (PS2, XBOX, GCN, GBA) and Amaze Entertainment (DS).

Features

  • Action/combat orientated
  • New breath abilities, fury attacks, melee and aerial combo attacks
  • Upgradeable breath abilities
  • The new storyline explores Spyro's origins, all the way back to when he hatched and was raised by a family of dragonflies

  • Gary Oldman as the voice of Ignitus: a red dragon, the Fire Dragon Elder and Spyro's mentor.

its a pretty good game..i wish it was longer. and i still wish you could keep convexity breath. =[

I wish you could keep Convexity Breath too. But then I wouldn't use any of the other breaths!! smilie

The only time you can use Convexity Breath is during the battle. You don't get to keep it.

i have a question. Is the only time you get to use convexity breath during the final battle with cinder? or can you use it afterwards?

Completely different! The GBA version is a 2D sidescroller and according to a review I read, sucks. I own the DS version, its really good, much better than the main version which I've borrowed before.

The DS and GBA versions of this game are very different.

the D.S. versionis the same as the GBA so if you say that the gba is best your saying so is the d.s. so umm peace with bacon grease
