Well, after all, cynder was corrupted by malefor, and its sort of like a werewolf, they dont realise what they did and what they are doing. Allso remember when she came back to her normal form, she instantly fainted, sooooo, she was exausted from the fight betwin spyro and her. Just like a were wolf, they dont remember a thing after they faint. But they may have flash backs, but cynder diden't.
Huh, yeah, good points.
I wouldn't count the first one.
The second one? Unless the GBA thing isn't right, that should certainly be taken into consideration.
The last one I'm not sure about, because she probably doesn't really know anymore since she was under Malefor's control.
But then again, she should have enough self control when she was uncorrupted to KNOW whether she was really betraying Spyro like that.

I believe she did.
If it counts, in ANB she was trying to murder you the whole time. But I wouldn't count that since she was corrupted.
In TEN, she leaves the temple right before it got attacked, which is quite suspicious, don't you think? Heck, I believe in the GBA version, it outright says she betrayed the temple and was headed for the Well of Souls to do it again.
And finally, in DotD, when Malefor reveals that Cynder was baiting Spyro into his lair and was betraying him, which she doesn't even start to deny. She just replies with "I dunno lol".

She betrayed Spyro when she was uncorrupted?
Meh, there's still a whole world to fight for.
Besides, how much did Spyro even know Cynder at the end of DotD, not counting all the times she betrayed him?

yeah it was supposed to be a touching moment but you guys are right about fighting for the world and stuff. It was an implication that he loved cynder more than anything in the almost-destroyed-world!
I reckon he sed 'i have nothing left to fight for' is because she got took over by the dark master for a couple of minutes, and cause shes beentaken away from him, he feels without her, theres nothing else that matters to him without her by his side .
i wish i had ps2 or 3 to play this
@purple
ho, yea you are right on that..ha,ha, soz!

Malefor was trying to kill Spyro since Spyro didn't want to join Malefor, I thought.
It seems like the only dragons in this game are Spyro, Cynder, Malefor, and the guardians. They must feel so lonely...
i said females would lay eggs like chickens so even if she was younger it wouldnt matter. it would make the most sense.
yes I guess you are all right on those opinions, but malefor didn't want to kill spyro, he wonted him to join the destiny of the purple dragons, in which, he only believed, thats why spyro refused to team up and so malefor decided to just kill him if he wont be at any use to him when he wold destroy the world.
I think there was two prophecies, the prophecy of the Purple Dragon was to destroy the world and the prophecy of the Savior was to save it. Malefor thought he was doing his job and he almost did until Spyro did his job.

It's her choice whether to betray Spyro, not Malefor's anymore. Malefor cannot control her.
As for the GBA, I don't know for myself, since I only heard someone else say that. But I plan to play the GBA version of TEN soon and find out.
