The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

@A7XSparx: In my opinion, I now think that the original Spyro games for the PS, are way better, but this is the only game afterwards that I really enjoy. After that, there is just the odd one or two levels from each Spyro game that I think are okay.

Mine too. I liked the first Spyro better, but this was my second-favorite Classic Spyro game. smilie

I liked the walk cycle better than the way he used to walk. It looks more natural, after all, he IS a four-legged animal. smilie It was a bit surprising at first though. smilie

The only thing I can point out a flaw in in this game, is the way Spyro walks, you know when you push the analouge stick to the max, its kinda running but not... :L It pees me off.

i like this game! it is fun! and i forgot how to get passed the ballpit level where theres 3 stumps of trees and theres a top floor, anyone know how to get up to the second floor? XD ik i sound dumb XD

this game was.. different. an odd twist to spyro. not into the voices and cheesy jokes, but whateva. i do like the worlds and hunter's game play tho.
