Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

I agree! What's wrong with a few graphics? I know its not the best spyro game ever but its spyro, as riptio said. plus, we see the return of ripto and crush and gulp. i know the characters look a bit weird but however they look, i love spyro! even weird games

i haven't played this game in awhile. i think i'm going to rent it sometime soon.

Stupid glitches. If the game developers hadn't rushed this game, then it would be good like the original three.

i like year of the dragon the best. it was the most fun to play. i think these people got a little carried away with the ice breath, the earth, what the hell is that. i mean its good, but its nothin like the good ol' fire breath!!!!!!

This game is one of the WORST I mean come on 1 home world crap story line TOOO MANY GLITCHES stuffed up my playstation 2 and IS A DISGRACE TO THE WORLD OF SPYRO

And what's wrong with glitches? i know Hunter looks a bit weird in this game but IT'S SPYRO! WHO CARES?

this game was rubbish da worst one ever and so are the legend series games insomniac were the real spyro creaters the original trilogy rules the others are just completely rubbish where the hell are the portals in a heros tail

OMG NO PORTELS IN A HEROS TAIL then it cant be good legond seris no portels they deffanetly must suck then ohhhh and all over games in the world u need to put in portels other wise they WILL suck
