The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

Finally, I finished the game!
It took me 15 hours to complete the "story mode" and I still have 30 light gems and 16 dragon eggs to find. smilie

The final boss was EASY. I did it for the 1st try!

and i love the hamsterball to it is sooooooo much fun until u get to magma falls you can die really easy in that one like u have to jump over stuff and avoid falling into lava its not fun

that aint possible purple n spyro and u can play as hunter and flame too but u have to beat the game to play as ember and flame but you can play as hunter in dragonfly falls and you dont have to complete the game to play as hunter

im stuck on this game, i have it 4 gamecube but i wanted it 4 PS2 smilie plus, u get 2 play Ember? anyway since i wanted 2 knoe wut happend 2 her i made spyro acidently hit her with his tail on the bridge and make her fall... she was never seen...... until now... she takes Spyro 2 a whole new world and now she hates him 4 doing that, but when he did that she gained a bigger, tougher body, in which, Spyro was drained from his abilities... and then he awaked from that nightmare only to see Cynder and Sparx asking Spyro wut happend.... PART 2 IZ COMIN! i did this on my dsi and THIS WAS NOT OFF TOPIC! IT WAS ABOUT HOW EMBER DISSAPEARED! (Or, just my story bout that...)

this game is so hard to complete and the last few levels are so hard. But mecha Red looks pretty easy.
